David Minton is an award-winning freelance photographer living in Phoenix, Arizona. Originally from Humble, Texas, he is a graduate of the University of North Texas' Mayborn School of Journalism. David has been a photojournalist and photo editor at several publications, including several years at the Denton Record-Chronicle in Denton, Texas and the numerous titles under the The East Valley Tribune umbrella in the Phoenix Metro area. In addition he has worked as a commercial photographer for many years, ranging from product and food photography, advertising, portraits and more. Over the course of his career he has earned numerous award for his work including being recognized multiple times by the Texas Associated Press Managing Editor, Texas Press Association, Texas Daily Newspaper Association, the Arizona Newspapers Association and the National Press Photographer’s Association.
In addition to his his love for photography and his love of the outdoors, he loves tacos. Like, really loves tacos.
